Hybridized was founded in 2016 in Rome, Italy. The name of the band comes from the mixture of thrash, groove and death metal genres, and from the band members’ will to join their different music tastes into a single one:

In 2017 the band released its first EP called “Mental Connections” and containing three tracks, together with a music video of “House Of Nightmares”, one of the tracks in the EP.

 

The following year and a half, the band played live sessions and composed new tracks, which would ultimately become their first LP album. 

 

In August 2019, Hybridized start recording its first full-length, homonymous album at Fourth Mile Studio, Rome. 

 

In its nine-track-release, Hybridized implements thrash and death metal music influences, giving birth to a combination of strong grooves and powerful, violent tunes, without leaving colorful melodies apart. The themes of the lyrics get inspiration from the vocalist’s life vision and are against religion, politics and modern society.
